O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking early disposal of HMOP.No.31 of 2021 on the file of the Subordinate Court, Devakkottai within the time stipulated by this Court. 1/4

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Since this revision has been filed only seeking early disposal no notice is necessary to the respondent.

3. The grievance of the revision petitioner / husband is that HMOP was filed by him in the year 2021 seeking divorce and he has also filed a chief in affidavit on 03.06.2022. So far, no cross examination has been made and the matter has been adjourned without assigning any proper reason. Further grievance of the petitioner is that in spite of repeated adjournments cross examination is not made by the respondent. In the meantime, the respondent herein filed an Interim maintenance petition U/s. 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act, in I.A.No.1 of 2023 on the file of Sub Court, Devakottai and the same is also pending. In such circumstances, the petitioner herein has filed the present Civil Revision Petition seeking early disposal of HMOP.No.31 of 2021 on the file of the Sub Court, Devakottai.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the Sub Court, Devakottai to dispose of I.A.No.1 of 2023, pending on his file within a period of two 2/4

months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, dispose of HMOP.No.31 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible.

5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
