O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to remove the name of the fifth respondent, Arputhasami, S/o. Anthonysami, from Patta No.125 relating to Survey Nos.263/2A1 and 263/2A2, situated at Surakottai Village, Thanjavur Taluk, Thanjavur District and to restore and maintain the patta exclusively in the name of Tharkala Nambagar Thanier Pandal Dharmam, represented by its Hereditary Trustee, Ramesh Vastad, on consideration of Page No. 2 of 6
the petitioner's representation dated 24.12.2025, within a time to be stipulated by this Court.
2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself, dispensing with the notice to the fifth respondent, as no adverse orders are proposed to be passed against him.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the subject properties belong to the petitioner-Trust. However, in the online patta, the name of the fifth respondent has been wrongly and illegally inserted as the first name in respect of the subject properties, even though the fifth respondent is a third party and has no right, title or interest in the properties or connection with the petitioner-Trust. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 24.12.2025 to the official respondents seeking removal of his name from the patta. However, no action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner has been constrained to file the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first to fourth respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's representation would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed by the third respondent within a period of twelve weeks.
5. Recording the above submissions and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.12.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representation shall be disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The third respondent shall afford a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the fifth respondent and all other interested parties before passing orders.
