ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to grant permission to set up sound speaker for welcoming goddess of "Sri Pappapatti Ochandamman Temple" on 21.02.2020 and 22.02.2020 during function of "Masipachai" at Koppilipatti, Thimmanatham Post, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 13.02.2020.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3.Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submits that in respect of conducting "Masipachai" festival of "Sri https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.3447 of 2020 Pappapatti Ochandamman Temple", W.P(MD)No.2371 of 2020 was filed by one Chinnasamy and this Court, by order dated 17.02.2020 has directed the petitioner/Chinnasamy and the respondents 3 to 20 in the writ petition to give a joint undertaking affidavit before the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Usilampatti Division and the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Usilampatti Division was directed to consider it and grant permission. She would further submit that the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.02.2020 has been received by the respondents only on 15.02.2020. She would further submit that if the petitioner approaches in person, proper enquiry will be conducted and appropriate orders will be passed in accordance with law.

4.Recording the same, the writ petition stands closed. No costs.
