ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The writ on hand has been instituted to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to establish a park in the area earmarked for public purpose/community purposes in the approved Santiagu Nagar layout situated in Kottapattu Village, K.K.Nagar Post, Trichy in consonance with the conditions of the layout plan approval for the benefits of the residents of Santiagu Nagar layout, based on the petitioner's representation dated 20.01.2020.

2.The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2/Tiruchirappalli Corporation submitted that the subject land is a vacant land as of now and ear-marked for the establishment of a park. 3.The Corporation will either develop a park in that locality or maintain the land in its present condition until a decision is made to develop the park. However, the Corporation has no proposal to convert the park land 3/6

for any other purpose.

4.The fourth respondent, who had attempted to construct a Kalyanamandabam in the land earmarked for the park, filed W.P(MD)No. 19299 of 2017 and the learned Single Judge dismissed the Writ Petition on 28.02.2025.

5.In view of the above submissions, no further adjudication is required. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
