Respondents Prayer: This Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 19.11.2020 on merits and in accordance with law within a stipulated period of time and in consequence thereof direct the 2nd respondent to disburse the compensation to the petitioner for the acquired property comprised in S.F.No.120/3 and 121/1 of Kottakudi Village, Sivagangai Taluk and District. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner, on 19.11.2020, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for disbursement of the compensation amount for the lands acquired by the Highways Department. 2.Heard Mr.G.Thiruvarutselvan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Sureshkumar, learned Government Counsel, appearing for the respondents.

3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of this case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.4059 of 2021 shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner, on 19.11.2020 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass final orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the second respondent along with all relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
