The present Writ Petition is filed praying for a Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission to conduct the ''Palalayam'' festival in Arulmighu Ponnar Sankar Thirukovil situated at Valanadu Village, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichirappalli District in order to implement the proceedings Se.Mu.Nada.Moo.Mu.No.6377/2023-A1 dated 14.07.2023 issued by the second respondent, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 23.08.2023.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that nothing survives in this Writ Petition and the same has become infructuous. He also made an endorsement to that effect. 2/4

3. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is closed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
