Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent to dispose of the application in Na.Ka.A3/3171/2016 pending on the file of the Respondent within stipulated time fixed by this Court and consequently direct the Respondent to issue Patta in the Petitioner's name within a stipulated period fixed by this Court .

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondent to dispose of the representation submitted by the writ petitioner, in respect wrong entries made in the patta. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner made submissions that there are certain wrong entries made in the patta issued in favour of the petitioner. However, the mistakes are to be rectified by conducting enquiry in accordance with the provisions of the Patta Pass Book Act.

3.Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 01.02.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of the twelve weeks from the date of the receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioner is directed to submit a copy of representation and relevant documents along with a copy of the order passed in this writ petition.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
