ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file the Final Report in Crime No.324 of 2023 dated 26.10.2023.

According to the petitioner, she is the defacto complainant in this case and based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No. 324 of 2023 dated 26.10.2023 was registered for the offences punishable under section 147, 294(b), 323, 506(i) of IPC and Section 4 of TNPHW Act. Thereafter, the respondent police have not conducted any proper investigation and no final report has been filed so far. Hence, the present petition.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that in this case already material part of an investigation is over and awaiting for the wound certificate from the medical authorities and hence seeks one month time period to complete the investigation and to file the final report. 2/4

4. In view of the above said representation made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) for the respondent, this Court directs the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report within one a period of one month from the date of this order.

5. With the above said directions, criminal original petition is allowed. No costs.
