Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th and 5th respondents to issue updated Adangal records for Survey Nos.699/12B, 699/11A and 699/9A of S.Kodikulam Village, Watrap Taluk, Virudhunagar District standing in the petitioner's name as owner and possessor of the above lands for effecting the free electricity agricultural well service connection allotted in petitioner's name by the 2nd and 3rd respondents. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The fourth respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned representation on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The fourth respondent shall put the interested persons, if any, on notice before passing final order. It is open to the fourth respondent to pass order one way or the other. 2/4
