P RAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents Nos.2 & 3 not to effect revenue records viz., Patta, Chitta and adangal for the lands in S.No.328/5 and 328/4 situated at Vembar Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District to the fifth respondent or any other parties without holding an enquiry in the manner known to law by considering the petitioner's objection representation dated 25.01.2025. ORDER

The petitioner seeks withdrawal of this writ petition.

The learned counsel appearing for the impleading applicant opposed the request for withdrawal stating that it has been repeated practice of the petitioner to file petition after petition and despite the matter having attained finality up to the Hon'ble Supreme Court, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition forbearing the authorities to issue patta to the impleading applicant.

However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the orders which were passed in the other writ petitions by the learned Single Judge and confirmed by the Hon'ble Division Bench is pertaining to the different survey numbers. Hence, the learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to withdraw the writ petition.

4. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
