ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to direct the 2nd respondent to complete investigation in FIR No.313 of 2024 on the file of the 2nd Respondent and file a final report with the stipulated time.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the defacto complainant in this case. He has lodged a complaint against the accused and based on the complaint, a case has been registered in FIR No.313 of 2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 191(2), 329(3), 296(b), 324(4) and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023. But thereafter, no proper investigation has been conducted and no charge sheet was filed. Therefore, the present petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the case is now under investigation and they will file a final report within a period of one month from the date of this order.

Recording the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to complete investigation in FIR No.313 of 2024 and file a final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said directions, the criminal original petition is allowed. No costs.
