ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the criminal proceedings in Crime No.1 of 2017 on the file of the first respondent police.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent police would submit that the investigation in Crime No.1 of 2017 has been completed and a charge sheet in FR.No.5 of 2018 has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, No.II, Virudhunagar and the same is now pending for taking cognizance. 3.At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner prayed before this Court that a direction may be issued to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Virudhunagar, to take the case on file and to complete the trial within the specified period. 4.Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
