Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- When the matter is listed on 13.02.2015, this Court passed the following order:
On 21.01.2015, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners represented that only a petition enquiry is pending and, therefore, he had shown the Crime Number as 'Crime Number-Not known'. Therefore, this Court had granted interim anticipatory bail to the petitioners on 21.01.2015 with a direction to the petitioners to appear before the respondent police for a period of two weeks and the case was adjourned to 04.02.2015.
2. Today, the police have filed a status report, in which, they have stated that a regular case in Crime No.19 of 2015 was registered and the first petitioner (Ramaraj) and second petitioner (Thangavel) were arrested by the police and they have also been released on bail by the learned District Sessions Judge, Karur. Similarly, on the basis of the complaint given by the first petitioner herein (Ramaraj), a counter case has been registered https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
against the defacto complainant in Crime No.18 of 2015 by the respondent police.
3. It is seen that there was no representation for the petitioners on 10.02.2015 and even today, when the matter was called, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Hence, post the matter under the caption "for dismissal" on 16.02.2015.
3. Accordingly, this petition is listed under the caption ' for dismissal' today. Even though the matter is listed under the caption ' for dismissal', there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence the petition is dismissed for non prosecution.
