This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service with continuity of service and to pay backwages and all other monetary benefits from the date of dismissal till the date of reinstatement.

2. Today when the Writ Petition came up for hearing, the learned Standing counsel for the respondents submitted that challenging the order dated 12.09.2017 passed by the Special Deputy Commissioner of Labour, Chennai, the management has filed a Writ Petition in W.PNo.19389 of 2018, before the Principal seat of Madras https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/4

W.P.(MD)No.3484 of 2020 High Court and the same is pending. While that being so, it would not be appropriate to deal with the same order dated 12.09.2017, in the present Writ Petition filed by the employee. In this background, the petitioner seeks liberty to withdraw the present Writ Petition and file a Writ Petition before the Principal Seat of Madras High Court

3. In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as closed with liberty to file a Writ petition before the Principal Seat of Madras High Court. No costs.
