O R D E R

(1)The above petition is filed to extend the time granted in Crl.MP.(MD).No. 16607/2025 in Crl.A.SR.(MD).No.63578/2025 dated 10.12.2025 to deposit the amount of Rs.5,000/- to the District Siddha Medical Officer, within the time stipulated by this Court.

(2)Mr.K.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

(3)The petitioner in the affidavit filed in support of this miscellaneous petition averred that his family members are not visiting him regularly and that he had no proper contact with them for a long time. The petitioner further states that due to prolonged incarceration, his family was left in severe financial distress and found it very difficult to mobilise funds to comply with the order of this Court dated 10.12.2025. The petitioner therefore prays for extension of time to deposit the amount, as directed by this Court.

(4)Being satisfied with the reasons stated therein, this Court is inclined to extend the time.

(5)The petition is ordered and the time is extended till 25.02.2026 for the petitioner to make the aforesaid deposit as directed by this Court, in the order dated 10.12.2025.
