PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct Respondent No.1 to withdraw the case in Crime No.16 of 2014 on the file of the Respondent No.3, dated 02.12.2014 and entrust the same to Respondent No.2 for an investigation of the case by a Competent Officer and file a report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate within the time stipulated by this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State represented that the F.I.R, registered in Crime No.16 of 2014, after completing the investigation, was closed as mistake of fact. Hence, the prayer sought for in this criminal original petition has become infructuous.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
