Prayer in WP(MD). 1163 of 2025 :- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue writ of MANDAMUS or any order or direction in the nature of writ directing the respondents to convert the Kallangkuthu Purampokku in Kalladai Village S.F.No.745 in Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District as forest lands to ensure the water supply to the irrigation tank in Kalladai Village S.F.No.266 for the welfare of the farmers of the village.
ORDER:- This writ miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.Muthukrishnan, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.J.Ashok AGP, for the respondents, this Court made the following order: [Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] "This petition has been filed to extend the time to pay the cost of Rs.10,000/- as ordered by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.1163 of 2025, dated 20.01.2025.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would undertake that the cost amount will be deposited within a period of one week.
3. In view of the undertaking given by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is ordered, extending the time till 11.06.2025.
