O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the fourth respondent to reimburse the medical expenses of Rs.3,43,571.93/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Forty Three Thousand Five Hundred and Seventy One Paise Ninety Three only) with interest to the petitioner under the Health Insurance Scheme within the time frame fixed by this Court. 2/7
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is working as Accountant in Tamil Nadu Co-operative Society and he is the subscriber of the New Health Insurance Scheme, 2016. While so, in the month of August 2020, the petitioner was found with symptoms of SARSCOV-2(COVID-19) and on 03.08.2020, he was admitted in Rosemary Mission Hospitals and Research Centre, Tirunelveli and was treated as in-patient from 03.08.2020 to 18.08.2020. A sum of Rs.3,43,571.93/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Forty Three Thousand Five Hundred and Seventy One Paise Ninety Three only) was charged by the hospital management for the treatment taken by him. Since he is eligible for medical claim under the Tamil Nadu New Health Insurance Scheme, he has made an application on 21.09.2020 to the third respondent in the prescribed format and the third respondent has forwarded the same to the second respondent. But, till date, no order was passed. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer. 3/7
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the respondents are directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner, dated 21.09.2020, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and the learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent have no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's application, dated 21.09.2020 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
