PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the contemnor/respondent for his willful, deliberate disobedience of the order of this Court made in W.P.(MD)No.12372 of 2024, dated 12.06.2024.

O R D E R

This Contempt Petition is filed Complaining willful disobedience of the respondents in implementing the order dated 12.06.2024 in WP(MD)No.12372 of 2024.

2. While disposing the said writ petition, this Court directed the respondents to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner on its own merits and pass orders in accordance with law within the period of four weeks.

3. The copy of the order was received by the respondents on 02.07.2024. Thereafter, by following the procedures contemplated in

G.O.(Ms.)No.124, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Per.N) Department dated 22.02.1983, the second respondent, who is the competent authority, by following due process of law, has concluded the enquiry and passed final orders on 28.02.2025 and the same was served on the petitioner on 28.02.2025.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner also accepted the same.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the reasons for the delay of six months in implementing the order of the Court are explained at paragraph No.3 of the affidavit, this Court of of the considered view that the order of the court is complied with by issuing final order on 28.02.2025 with the delay of six months and this Court is satisfied with the said reasons.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the considered view that no further adjudication is required in this contempt petition.

7. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed. 18.03.2025 Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No CM
