Respondents Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.626 of 2020 on the file of the third respondent to any other competent officer, other than the third respondent herein under the supervision of the first respondent and to complete the investigation.

ORDER

This petition is filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.626 of 2020 on the file of the third respondent to any other competent officer.

2.On the side of the petitioner it is stated that the petitioner lodged a complaint before the third respondent. Even after three months, the petitioner was not examined by the respondent Police and eye witness was also not examined. Again, on 16.12.2020 the accused threatened the wife of the petitioner and she filed another complaint in this regard. The Deputy Superintendent of Police is competent to investigate the case and prayed a time may be fixed for completing the investigation.

3.On the side of the respondents it is stated that already the Deputy Superintendent of Police is conducting the investigation. The case is pending for receipt of certificate from the revenue authorities. The Deputy Superintendent of Police has addressed to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.2922 of 2021 the Revenue authorities on 06.02.2021 and the respondent is ready to complete the investigation within a period of three months. 4.In view of the submissions made by both sides, this Court directs the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.626 of 2020 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
