*********** Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

2. By consent of both parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The petitioner is working as Pulp making Assistant in the second respondent/Prison. According to the petitioner he is eligible to be promoted as Handmade Supervisor cum Instructor. In this regard, he has given several representations. It appears that the second respondent had already recommended the case of the petitioner vide proceedings dated 22.11.2014. The first respondent is yet to take decision in this regard.

4. Therefore, this Court directs the respondents to pass order on the petitioner's representation dated 16.11.2017, in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from today.
