The Block Educational Officer, Karunkulam, Thoothukudi District has cancelled the selection grade pay scale granted to this petitioner, vide order dated 28.07.2025. Therefore, the petitioner has filed a writ petition before this Court in WP(MD) No. 21680 of 2025 that the order, dated 28.07.2025 has been passed without providing an opportunity to this petitioner. Considering the submission, this Court, by its order dated 11.08.2025 has set aside the above order, with a direction to the respondents therein to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, by providing an opportunity to the petitioner. The petitioner, with a grievance that the order of this Court, dated 11.08.2025 has not been complied with, has filed this contempt petition. 2.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, by referring to the proceedings of the Block Educational Officer, Karunkulam in Na.Ka.No.795/A1/2025, dated 23.10.2025 submits that the case of the petitioner was considered and she was 2/4

provided with an opportunity as per the order of this Court and her request was rejected. A copy of the proceedings is also placed before this Court.
