O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent to provide appointment order to the petitioners for the post of Gangman (Trainee) as per the results published by the second respondent on May 2020 based on the marks secured in the physical and written test conducted by the second respondent, by considering the petitioners representation dated 13.12.2021.

2. The case of the petitioners is that they have applied for the post of Gangman (Trainee) and the results have also been published by the second respondent. But till date, the appointment order has not been provided to the petitioners. Hence, they made a representation dated 13.12.2021 to the respondents to provide appointment order. But, till date, the same has not been considered. Therefore, the petitioners have filed the present Writ Petition with the aforesaid prayer.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that it would suffice, if the concerned respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners, dated 13.12.2021, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter,

directs the concerned respondent to consider the petitioners' representation, dated 13.12.2021 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
