ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondent herein for his willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.15299 of 2021, dated 07.10.2021.

2. By the order of this Court, dated 07.10.2021, a direction was issued to the respondent to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the contemnor/ respondent is present and he would submit that the final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai, on 25.02.2022. But, it has not been taken on cognizance so far.

4. Since final report has been filed before the concerned Court, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this petition.

5. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed and the contemnor/respondent is discharged.
