PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the third respondent to grant patta to the petitioner by making appropriate changes in the Town Survey Land Register and showing 'F' line of his property relating to an extent of 20 cents of land comprising in T.S.No.27/1A1 (Old S.No.78/C3 Part) of Ward No.C, Block-11, New Convent Road (Lloydsroad-Convent) in the light of the order passed by the second respondent in Roc.No.2682/2024/A2, dated 20.01.2025 by considering the on-line request made by him vide application No.2024/0154/13/002478 (printed request dated 22.07.2024 12.09:53) within the time frame as fixed by this Court. ORDER
The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the third respondent to grant patta in the light of the order of the second respondent in Roc.No.2682/2024/A2, dated 20.01.2025. 2.Considering the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 2/4
3.Heard the learned counsel on either side.
4.The petitioner has made an application for issuance of patta on 22.07.2024. The said application was taken up by the second respondent and after considering the documentary evidence adduced by the petitioner, the second respondent directed the third respondent/Tahsildar to issue patta. The said order passed by the second respondent was only on 20.01.2025. 5.In such view of the matter, it would suffice to issue a direction to the third respondent to comply with the order of the second respondent dated 20.01.2025, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
