O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the the respondent to grant permission and protection for conducting Kabadi Tournament scheduled to be conducted on 13.01.2018 from 02.00 P.M onwards till 15.01.2018 2.00 A.M day and night matches to be held at Sports Ground near at Anukkanatham, Purathakudi Post, Ilangakurichi Via, Manaparai Taluk, Trichy District based on the petitioner's representation to the respondent dated 02.01.2018. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that every year during Pongal Festival the petitioner conducted Kabadi Tournament. Likewise, in this year also, the petitioner has proposal to conduct a kabadi Tournament from 02.00 P.M. on 13.01.2018 till 02.00 A.M. on 15.01.2018 and for that, he gave a representation on 02.01.2018 to the respondent, but, so far, the said representation has not been considered by the respondent.

3.The learned Government Pleader has submitted that the respondent will consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders.

4.Considering the aforesaid submission, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 02.01.2018 and dispose of the same on or before 10.01.2018.

5.with the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
