PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to pass an order of direction to withdraw the case in Crime No.307 of 2014 on the file of the 2nd respondent police and may transfer the investigation to some other unbiased police or competent agency to conduct fair and impartial investigation in accordance with law.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to pass an order of direction to withdraw the case in Crime No.307 of 2014 on the file of the 2nd respondent police and may transfer the investigation to some other unbiased police or competent agency to conduct fair and impartial investigation in accordance with law. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State represented that the F.I.R, registered in Crime No.307 of 2014, after completing the investigation, was closed as mistake of fact on 04.10.2014. Hence, the prayer sought for in this criminal original petition has become infructuous.
