ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents 1 to 3 not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiring a civil dispute by threatening the petitioner to hand over the Toyota-Legender Car bearing Registration No.TN 74 BE 4668 to the fourth respondent.

2. According to the petitioner, the respondents 1 to 3 are harassing the petitioner to hand over the Toyota-Legender Car bearing Registration No.TN 74 BE 4668 to the fourth respondent based on the complaint given by the fourth respondent. The matter is purely civil in nature. Therefore, the petitioner filed this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents would submit that they received the complaint from the fourth respondent and now the matter is under enquiry. During the enquiry, they have 2/5

not harassed the petitioner. However, they will complete the enquiry within one week.

4. Since the third respondent has received the complaint and the same is under enquiry, this Court directs the third respondent to complete the enquiry on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one (1) week from the date of this order.

5. With the above said directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
