PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to stay all further proceedings of the Crime No.1/2022 on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same as against the third accused.

ORDER

This Criminal Original petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 01 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent police.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the respondent police completed investigation in Crime No. 1 of 2022 and also filed final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli on 16.02.2022 itself.

3. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report.
