ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner purchased the petition mentioned property from one Natarajan, S/o.Annamalai Cheetiyar. The case of the petitioner is that the said Natarajan Cheetiyar granted power of attorney in favour of one Thanneer Malai. The said Thanneer Malai managed to get his name incorporated as joint pattadar on the strength of the said power of attorney. The petitioner would state that the said power of attorney was subsequently cancelled and thereafter, the property was sold to the petitioner. The petitioner wants to include his name in the joint patta. Hence, this writ petition came to be filed. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that enquiry on the petitioner's application dated 14.02.2024 has since commenced and that final order on merits and in accordance with law will be passed within a period of ten weeks from the date 2/4

of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The Tahisldar, Karaikudi shall give a disposal to the petitioner's request within the aforesaid time period. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
