The petitioner has come forward with this application, praying to quash the proceeding in Crime No.564 of 2014 on the file of the Respondent No.1.

2.Heard the counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mrs.S.Prabha, Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the 1st respondent, on instructions, would submit that the charge sheet has already been filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.3, Nagercoil, which was taken up on file in C.C.No.274 of 2015.

4. Recording the submission made by the Government Advocate (crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed. The Magistrate is directed to take up the matter and decide the same as expeditiously as possible. The Magistrate shall not adjourn the matter beyond seven working days at any point of time. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
