This Criminal Original Petition is filed under section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the learned III Additional Special Court for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Madurai, Madurai District to accept the surrender of the petitioners and consider petitioners' bail application and grant bail on the date of surrender itself in crime No.23 of 2022 on the file of the 2nd Respondent.

ORDER:- This Petition coming on for hearing on this day and upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.P.Senguttuarasan, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent 1 and 2, this Court made the following order:

The petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking extension of time for surrendering before the Trial Court in the order made in Crl.O.P(MD)No.1789 of 2022, dated 01.02.2022. 1/3

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3.Considering the submission made on either side, time granted by this Court vide order dated 01.02.2022, made in Crl.O.P(MD) No.1789 of 2022, is extended till 07.03.2022, failing which the petition stands dismissed automatically without any further reference to this Court.

4.Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
