This criminal original petition has been filed to provide police protection to survey the petitioner's land situated in S.Nos.368/1C, 368/11, 374/1A3, Ayan Pappakudi Village, Madurai District having extent of 0.75 Ares.

2.The petitioner seeks police protection to his life and limb through a representation, dated 27.11.2015. Now, 3 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.

3.In view of the same, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
