PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondents for their willful and wanton disobedience of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.(MD).No.16175 of 2021 dated 02.09.2022 under the Contempt of Courts Act.

ORDER

Alleging wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court dated 02.09.2022 in W.P.(MD)No.16175 of 2021, this Contempt Petition has been filed.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, it is stated by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents that the order of the Writ Court has been challenged in an intra Court appeal in W.A.(MD).No. 352 of 2023, which is posted along with batch of Writ Appeals covering the issue and an order of interim stay has been granted in C.M.P.(MD).No.3834 of 2023 vide order dated 28.03.2023. While that being so, it would not be appropriate for this Court to parallely adjudicate the present Contempt Petition. 2/4

3. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
