Petitions filed under Article 226 Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to issue separate pattas in favour of the Petitioner after sub division based on the Application Nos.2017/0105/14/007445 and 2017/0105/14/07446 dated 21.08.2017.

For Petitioners : Mr.D.Senthil For Respondent : Mr.M.Rajarajan Government Advocate (both cases) COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed seeking direction to the respondent to issue separate patta in favour of the petitioners after sub division, based on the Application Nos.2017/0105/14/007445 and 2017/0105/14/07446 dated 21.08.2017.

2.Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that already the petitioners' applications have been rejected by the Tahsildar by the order dated 19.12.2017. He has also produced a copy of the above order to that effect.

3.Considering the fact that the petitioners' applications have already been rejected, the relief sought for by the petitioners cannot be granted. Hence, these writ petitions are dismissed. However, it is always open to the petitioners to challenge the order of rejection dated 19.12.2017, if they are so advised. No costs. Consequently, WMP(MD)Nos.3401 and 3402 of 2018 are closed.
