Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider my representation dated 09.12.2017 seeking permanency and conferring time scale in the post of sweeper at Sundarapandiapuram Branch Library, Tirunelveli within a time that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. By consent of both parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The petitioner claims to have worked in the third respondent library. According to the petitioner, she is entitled to the benefits set out in G.O.Ms.No.385, Finance (Pay Cell) Department, dated 01.10.2010, which was issued for regularising the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Sweepers working on daily wages or consolidated basis for three years in a Government offices or in the local bodies. The petitioner gave a representation dated 13.12.2017, in this regard. The first respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry with regard to the assertion made by the writ petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as prejudice by due opportunity of hearing. Such an order shall be passed on or before 31.05.2018.
