Respondent PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondent to take action in Crime No.54 of 2020 on the file of the respondent Police and to remove the CCTV camera which has been installed by the sole accused in his upstairs of the house situated in Kallar Street, Ayyampalayam Village, Dindigul District.

O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent to take action in Crime No.54 of 2020 on the file of the respondent Police and to remove the CCTV camera which has been installed by the sole accused in his upstairs of the house situated in Kallar Street, Ayyampalayam Village, Dindigul District. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.54 of 2020 has been registered by the respondent police for the offence under Section 354(C) of IPC. He would further submit that the accused has absconded and appropriate steps have been taken by the respondent police and camera and hard-disk have also been removed from the house of the accused person. He would further submit that the recovered properties will be produced before the concerned Magistrate and the same will be sent to the forensic department for examination.
