The petitioner seeks production of the person of his daughter Kokila, aged about 20 years.

2. According to the petitioner, the detenue went missing from 12.02.2022. Complaining of inaction on the part of the respondent police, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition.

3. The detenue has been produced before us today. She had stated that she fell in love with one Sivakumar and she has got married to him. She would further state that she is living with him at Aachimadam, Krishnapuram, Tirunelveli.

4. The said Sivakumar and his mother are also present today. They would also confirm the fact that Sivakumar got married the detenue and leading a peaceful married life. The detenue would express her wish to go with Sivakumar.
