O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by V.BHARATHIDASAN, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the wife of the detenu, namely, Senthilkumar, aged about 37 years, alleging that he is found missing from 10.01.2021. Since, the complaint given by the petitioner to respondent No.6 on 09.02.2020, evoke no response, she has come forward to file this Habeas Corpus Petition. 2.Mr.S.Ravi, learned Standing Counsel for Government, appearing for the respondents, on instructions submitted that the detenu is a notorious criminal, having involved in two murder cases, apart from 13 other cases and the recent one is registered by Karupayurani Police Station, Madurai in Crime No.1212 of 2020 on 05.02.2021, he was arrayed as accused for the commission of offence under Section 302 I.P.C. and he is absconding, the police are also taking serious steps to arrest the detenu.
3.Recording the submission of the learned Standing Counsel for Government that the detenu is an absconding accused and police is also taking steps to trace the detenu and there is no illegal detention as alleged by the petitioner, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed.
