PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 10.11.2023 within the time fixed by this Court and release the petitioner prematurely on considering the relevant G.O's and his good conduct inside the prison. This writ petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 10.11.2023 and release the petitioner prematurely on considering the relevant G.O's and his good conduct inside the prison.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the representation for premature release has been considered and rejected by the prison authority vide proceeding No.7652/tha.ku.1/2024 dated 25.03.2024.
3. In view of the disposal of the representation, this Writ Petition is dismissed with a liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said rejection order, if he is so advised.
