O R D E R

************ [Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN.,J.] The petitioner is aggreived by the rejection of permission for conducting Rekla Race and Valli Thirumana Drama programme on 18th and 19th of March 2022 in connection with the consecration of Arulmigu Sri Veerakaliamman Kovil situated at Keelavalavu Village, Melur Taluk of Madurai District.

2. The third respondent has refused the permission on 05.02.2022 solely on the ground of Pandemic. Now that there is a change in situation and the number of cases have fallen to a new low and the Government of Tamil Nadu has also withdrawn the several of restrictions imposed due to the pandemic, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to reconsider the application of the petitioner in the light of the recent developments and the lifting of restrictions by the Government. The third respondent is required to pass orders on or before 5th of March 2022. No costs.
