ORDER
Heard Mr.K.Rajeshwaran, learned counsel, appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Pugalendhi, learned Additional Advocate General, appearing for the respondents.
2.By consent of both the parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
3.The petitioner was a candidate for the post of Police Constable in the recruitment process that was held in the year 2017. He was denied appointment on the ground that he is having deficiency https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
by name ECHO Large 'ASD'. The petitioner is, however, entitled to get himself examined by a second Medical Board. He has also given a representation in this regard on 23.10.2017. When the petitioner is ready and willing to undergo a second medical examination, there cannot be any impediment for constituting a second Medical Board. Therefore, the respondents are directed to convene such Medical Board on or before 31.03.2018. The report of the medical board will be obtained immediately thereafter and the case of the petitioner will be considered in the light of the same.
4.With these directions, the Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
