Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C to direct the I Additional District and Sessions Judge-CumPCR Court, Thanjavur to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of their surrender in Cr.No.88 of 2017 on the file of the Respondent police.
ORDER: This petition coming on for orders hearing on this day, upon perusing the petition and material papers of the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.M.RAMU, Advocate for the petitioner and M/S.K.ANBARASAN, Government Advocate (Crl.side) on behalf of Respondent 1 and 2, that this court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the time in Crl.O.P(MD). 2. This Court by order dated 05.07.2017, directed the petitioner to surrender before the learned I Additional District
and Sessions Judge Cum PCR Court, Thanjavur, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. But, the petitioner fails to comply with said condition and hence, he has filed the present petition for extension of time.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
4. Having regarding to the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to allow this petition.
5. Accordingly, this petition is allowed and the time for surrendering before the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge Cum PCR Court, Thanjavur is extended for a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
