ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and her family members by considering the petitioner's representation dated 01.02.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, there is a money dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents 4 to 6. The petitioner has borrowed money from the respondents 4 to 6 and she repaid the entire amount along with interest. Though the petitioner has paid more interest, the respondents 4 to 6 are still demanding exorbitant interest and further threatened her with dire consequences. The petitioner has made several complaints and no action was taken till date. Thereafter, on 01.02.2025 the petitioner has made a representation before the 3rd respondent police for police protection, however the same was not considered. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that there is a money dispute pending between the petitioner and the private respondents and thereby, the petitioner lodged a complaint and based on the said complaint, they have enquired the matter and closed the complaint as money dispute. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case.

4. Since already the representation of the petitioner dated 01.02.2025 was considered and the same was closed, no further order is required to be passed in this case. However, if any life threat made by the private respondents in future, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the 3rd respondent and if any complaint is lodged, the 3rd respondent is directed to take appropriate action in accordance with law.

5. With the above said observations and directions, this criminal original petition is dismissed. No costs.
