PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's own patta land in Survey.Nos.162/1C 159/2A to an extent of 0.28.50 Hectare nearly of 70 cents which is situated at Kottur Village, Theni Taluk, Theni District and consequently to fix its boundaries as per the revenue records by considering the petitioner's applications dated 10/12/2020 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to survey the patta land belonging to the petitioner based on the application submitted by the petitioner on 10.12.2020.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the petitioner died on 02.08.2021.

3. In view of the same, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition. If the legal heirs of the petitioner wants the property to be surveyed, they can make an independent application before the respondents and proceed further in accordance with law.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed as abated. No costs.
