Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the letter No. 2263/M2/2015, dated 10.06.2017 and quash the same and further direct the respondent to appoint the petitioner as a Lab Assistant in any one place in Ramanathapuram District.

2. By consent of both parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The petitioner seeks appointment as Lab Assistant against the category of Destitute Widow. But the petitioner is actually a destitute women. Her husband divorced the petitioner. Since the petitioner is a divorcee, she cannot be considered under the category of "Destitute Widow". It is on this footing the impugned order was passed. The factual premises underlying the impugned order cannot be faulted. Therefore, there is no merit in this writ petition.

4. This Writ petition stands dismissed.

No costs.
