O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to forthwith declare the examination result conducted for the examination viz., Combined Civil Service Examination-IV (Group-IV Services) held on 24.07.2022 (FN) between 09.30 a.m., to 12.30 p.m.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner has participated in the Combined Civil Service Examination-IV (Group-IV Services) held on 24.07.2022. However, his result has not been declared and he was directed to appear before the second respondent on 25.01.2023 at 03.00 p.m, vide communication dated 20.01.2023. Accordingly, he has appeared before the second respondent on 25.01.2023 and he was directed to re-write the exam of Group-IV service examination, without disclosing the same to other persons. He has refused to re-write the examination. In the meanwhile, the petitioner's father has sent a representation to the respondents on 26.01.2023. Thereafter, the 2/5

petitioner has received one another communication from the respondents that he should appear for the very same Group-IV Service Examination on 13.02.2023 (Forenoon) between 09.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the respondents are directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 26.01.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 26.01.2023 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of 3/5

this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
