When the matter has been taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent submitted a communication in Na.Ka.No.1056/2018/C1, dated 02.15.2018, by which, the petitioner's mother was favoured with appointment on compassionate ground.

2.Under such circumstances, the claim of the petitioner cannot be considered and this writ petition is liable to be dismissed. 3.This writ petition is dismissed accordingly. No costs.
