Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's revision dated 27.01.2020 against the order passed by 2nd respondent dated 09.10.2019 within the stipulated period that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's revision dated 27.01.2020, against the order passed by the second respondent dated 09.10.2019, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that aggrieved by the order dated 09.10.2019, under the Patta Pass Book Act, a revision has been preferred before the first respondent on 27.01.2020. Since the revision has not been disposed of, the petitioner has filed this writ petition, seeking for early disposal of the revision petition. 3.Heard Mr.S.Arivazhagan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeyapriya, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

W.P(MD).No.3315 of 2022 4.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself. 5.No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's statutory revision dated 27.01.2020, is disposed of within the time frame to be fixed by this Court, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and any other rival claimant. 6.Accordingly, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's statutory revision filed under the Patta Pass Book Act on 27.01.2020, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a fair hearing to the writ petitioner and other rival claimants, if any.

7.With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
