O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to pass final orders in the departmental enquiry pending in file Na.ka.No.Aa3/2688/2013, dated 13.01.2025 and pay subsistence allowance to the petitioner.

2. The only grievance raised by the petitioner in this writ petition with respect to the inaction of the third respondent in passing the final orders in the departmental enquiry pending against the petitioner in file Na.ka.No.Aa3/2688/2013, dated 13.01.2025.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on 23.01.2025, the petitioner appeared before the third respondent and participated in the enquiry.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that the final orders will be passed by the third 2/5

respondent in the departmental enquiry initiated against the petitioner within a period of four weeks.

5. Considering the above submissions made by the respective learned counsels, in our considered view, it is appropriate and reasonable to dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the third respondent to pass final orders in the departmental enquiry pending against the petitioner within a period of four weeks to meet the interest of justice.

6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage with the consent of both parties without going into the merits of the case with a direction to the third respondent to pass final orders in the departmental enquiry pending against the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
